We have a zero-tolerance policy for transphobia and reserve the right to remove any content promoting trans-exclusionary ideologies. Please visit our Community Guidelines for more info on our zero-tolerance policy. There are plenty of other options out there for cis men and cis straight couples. Please respect our space.
First, make sure you update the app to the latest version in the Google Play or App Store.
If the problem is not resolved in the newer version of the app, shake your phone vigorously to report the issue.
Click the button that says "Signed up using Instagram?" and follow the steps to recover your account.
Note: You need to manually update your location if you move physical locations. For example: If you are in Mexico City, then travel to Portland, Oregon – once in Portland, you need to open profile and update your location manually.
You are allowed to make 6 posts on Lex every 30 days. At the end of 30 days, your post limit will automatically reset.

Yes! To edit your ad, simply click on the pen icon underneath your post and press SAVE.
Yes, but that doesn’t mean you should wait for them to message you first. Slide in their DMs!
Nope—the ads you have saved are only visible to you.
The heart means that you "like" someone's ad—this like is visible only to you and the person who posted the ad.
The star means that you "saved" someone's ad—only you are able to see the posts you've saved. You can tap on the star in the bottom toolbar to view all of the ads you've saved— even the ones that have expired.
Yes! You can search for a user by typing their username into the search filter.
You can edit your Name, Username, Location, Pronouns and Instagram account.
To change the Instagram account linked to your Lex profile:
To hide the Instagram account so that it is not visible to other Lexers, tap the button next to "Make my Instagram public" so that it looks grey instead of cyan.
To receive/remove notifications from Lex, visit your phone’s settings, find the notifications tab, and click Lex.

For security purposes, you aren’t able to change the age associated with your account. Double check to make sure that your birthdate is correct upon sign-up. If there is an error with your birthdate please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
You can choose to delete or temporarily deactivate your account by going to your profile and scrolling down to Account Settings.
Lex is currently community moderated. If your account is blocked or your post is reported, that means it has been reported by multiple people. We can’t tell you why your post was reported or account was blocked to protect the identities of the people who made the report. Please review our Community Guidelines and see if a violation may have been the cause. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 72 hours.
If your ads disappear immediately after you post them, you might be using an older version of the app. Try updating to the most recent app version in Google Play or App Store and posting again!
You can change your location by visiting your profile settings and updating it to where you are now. See instructions below for details.
